fifty eight tattoos. fifty eight forever frames floating around on this little marble. fifty eight strangers tethered together. i requested strangers to get tattooed. a few hundred people volunteered. of those volunteers, fifty eight were randomly selected. the photos of the tattoos came back in over the course of a year after which the images were lined up with each other. content aware fill was applied to some images to correct for alignment and zoom. fifty eight people from all over the globe. people i will likely never meet or see or even hear from again. but they carry this.
